My previous post, Halt on Shopping, was such a disaster. I don't think I even lasted a week.. I tried so hard to resist but one of my old friends asked me to go to this little boutique with her and i fell in love with an Urban Expressions wallet/wristlet. I think the color was what got me the mostt!

I also found this cute little silver bow ring!

Since it's impossible for me to stop shopping altogether, I decided I'll try a method smokers usually do when they are trying to quit. I will cut down the amount I spend on retail every month! YAY for some shopping still! If you have tips, PLEASEEEEEEE help yo girl outttt!

Celebrity Inspiration: Rachel Bilson

Who agrees Rachel Bilson has AMAZING taste in fashion?! I followed her from The O.C. to Hart of Dixie. Honestly, I'm guilty of watching Hart of Dixie just for Rachel Bilson's outfits! & her character's sarcasm.. I wonder if she puts her character's outfits together..

Anyways, lets not get distracted now. Rachel Bilson is probably best known for looking effortlessly cute on the streets, and simply chic on the red carpet!

LOOK #1: Even at the airport, where we all look grungy, Rachel Bilson manages to look casually cute!

LOOK #2: Of course she wouldn't disappoint us while she's shopping, dressing down a fitted blazer with some jeans. Her BOLD red handbag adds a nice -pop- to her outfit!

LOOK #3: Lastly, looking absolutely gorgeous on the red carpet. Notice how she doesn't need to cake on loads of make up to look fab?

Halt On Shopping?!

Yesss.. I said alright! As of today, I will no longer be shopping until May 30, 2012.

The past couple of months, my bills have skyrocketed because, you know, I have a shopping problem and all..

Welll, recently, I have discovered a WONDERFUL abroad program at school. Wine tasting and eating cheese? & earning credits?! It's a total win win situation. However, the price of the program is pretty steep. I will need to save up 6 grand by May! Yes, yes, yes, it sounds impossible. Saving up 6 grand in about 4 months?! Then I asked myself my go-to question when I'm stuck: What would Ginger do?! Ginger would give up something as important as shopping for a couple of months, and trade it in for a trip to FRANCE!

Everyone told me I can't do it, my mommy included. WHATEVS. I will give it a shot. Actually, first I would need to get accepted into the program. But what the heck, if I don't get into the program, I'll just have a bunch of moneysss saved up for some retail therapy! If I do get in, I'll be sure to save up enough so I can do some marvelous shopping in France!

Something Old, Something New

Here's two of my newest additions to my bag collection!!

(Sorry for the low quality picture. It's from my webcam! Also sorry for my foot accidentally being in the picture. I know, I have feet-phobia but I was too lazy to retake the picture)

The one on the left is a pre-owned Dooney & Bourke handbag I thrifted from my local Crossroads Trading Co.

It's dome-shaped with red interior.

This is currently my everyday bag! It fits everything!

The one on the right is my new Michael Kors purchase! It's a versatile clutch or handbag in the most gorgeous ivory leather! This one is totally my baby! I literally kissed it just about a bajillion times!

I honestly think I do have a shopping problem, but I can't help it! I constantly joke with my friends about attending shoppers anonymous meetings. (Do they exist?!) B, the boyfriend, tries to control my shopping, but even he can't pull me away from something I want. When I saw the Michael Kors bag in the store, I told him I felt a magnetizing connection with the purse. He laughed and did the smh (shake my head). Inside the store, I debated whether I should make the purchase or not for about 2 minutes. Next think I knew, I was at the register, swiping my little card, and walking out of the store with a new purchase in my hand and a fat smile on my face!

I LOVEEEEEEEEE shopping, especially for shoes and handbags!

I absolutely adore vintage clothes & handbags. There's just something about pre-owned shoes I can't get over. (feet-phobia!!!)

I love school supplies! Post-its, notebooks, pens, markers, pencils, you name it!

I also love to scrapbook and make cards.

I'm definitely not the best writer in town, but I figured, what the heck! Feel free to correct me though, I'm always open to learning!

Oh yeah, I should probably mention I love school!

I loveeee lovee lovee intense sports! Such as wrestling, bjj, and kick boxing.
